13 Million Women Enter Menopause Annually (Blog Banner).jpg

Welcome to Sparq Health, where personalized medicine meets a passion for vibrant living.

I’m Danielle Brandt, a Nurse Practitioner with over 23 years of healthcare experience, a Menopause Society Certified Provider, and currently working on my board certification with the American Academy of Anti-Aging. As the founder of Sparq Health, my mission is simple: to help you feel strong, energized, and truly alive—at every stage of life.

My journey into advanced health optimization didn’t start in a textbook—it started in my own body. Over 20 years ago, I hit a breaking point. I was exhausted, achy, foggy, and loaded with autoimmune markers, yet no doctor could tell me why. I trusted the system, but when conventional medicine had no answers, I took matters into my own hands and turned to functional medicine.

Eventually, I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Through a year of relentless dedication—dialing in my nutrition, optimizing lifestyle habits, and experimenting with nutraceuticals and alternative therapies like red light therapy—I reclaimed my health. That experience opened my eyes to what’s possible when we treat the root cause, not just mask symptoms.

Fast forward 15 years, and I found myself in another health crisis. After multiple miscarriages, I had my son at 42 (thank you, progesterone therapy!), but the fatigue that followed wasn’t just from sleepless nights. For two years, I battled debilitating exhaustion, body vibrations, palpitations, crushing headaches, and an eerie sense of detachment. Music, chocolate, the outdoors—my favorite things—felt joyless. I knew something was severely wrong, but once again, conventional medicine had nothing for me except a handful of prescriptions.

That’s when I dove deep into hormone replacement therapy (HRT). The results were life-changing—I got my energy, my joy, my Sparq back. That experience lit a fire in me to help others break free from just “getting by” and start thriving.

Why Sparq Health?

With 23 years in healthcare, I’ve worked in Acute Care, Obesity medicine, Functional Medicine, Primary and Urgent Care, but my true passion is Women’s and Men’s Hormone Health taking a proactive approach to Disease Prevention . Inspired by the likes of Dr. Peter Attia, I embrace what he calls “Medicine 3.0”—a forward-thinking, preventive model focused on healthspan, not just lifespan.

At Sparq Health, we do things differently. We listen. We investigate. We tailor treatments to you. Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause, testosterone therapy, or peptide therapy my goal is to empower you with the tools to live and feel amazing—not just now, but for the long haul.

Beyond the Clinic

When I’m not trying to keep up with my son, you’ll find me outside in nature, lifting heavy things, or diving into the latest research (or the most recent Huberman Podcast). I’m a former ultra-marathoner turned CrossFitter/Lifter, and while my training style has evolved, my love for movement and the outdoors never will. But the best title I hold? Lucky Boy Mom to one of the best 6-year-olds out there.

Beyond health and fitness, I’m deeply committed to making an impact—both in my local community and beyond. One cause especially close to my heart is the Malawi Children’s Mission, where I’m honored to support their mission of providing education, healthcare, and essential resources to vulnerable children. The opportunity to contribute to something bigger than myself and help create lasting change is something I’m truly grateful for.
